Lawrence Anini and co. the notorious armed robber gang that terrorized the old Bendel state in the 1980s were executed by firing squad.
But in today Nigeria, when you steal billions of Naira, you are celebrated, given plaque and national honors with a presidential handshake and pardon.
A former governor of my state ( Edo state) who stole and embezzled public money running into billions of Naira was only asked by court to pay less than 5 million Naira.
Today, the same man is boasting that he will be the one to anoint and produce the next governor of my state.
What a country. A country were law are made for only the poor.
