PDP Needs Serious Prayers- Fani-Kayode

Erstwhile Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Tuesday, expressed deep concern that his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), needs prayers.

Fani-Kayode’s statement may not be unconnected to reports that the party’s caucus chose former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff, as its National hairman, pending when the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), will ratify his appointment.

Fani-Kayode who took to his Twitter handle @@realFFK to express his concern said: “Given today’s events it is clear to me that, more than at any other time in its 16 years in existence, the PDP needs serious prayers.”

However, reports emerged Tuesday evening that Sheriff’s emergence as  chairman of the party has been rejected by the PDP BoT.
